iBOP Galley Show this Saturday
Lots of folks are putting a lot of sweat into this Saturday’s iBop Gallery
Show. We have an amazing space and lots of great work to display.
With the website being in transition I wanted to remind everyone with all
the details. Don’t let the freedom hating hackers win by not going to this
show.
When: This Saturday, July 10, from 6 - 11 PM
Where: River North Art Galleries
230 West Superior, 2nd Floor
Chicago, IL
Directions:
The gallery is on the corner of Franklin and Superior but you need to enter on the Franklin side because there’s no way to get in from Superior. It is only a block or two away from the CTA Chicago Brown/Purple Line stop and about 5 blocks from the Chicago Red Line stop. There is street parking everywhere and is easily found.
If you are coming from either north or south of the city, take 90/94 to the Ohio St. exit, continue on Ohio St. and make a left on Franklin.
If you want to make a date night and take you significant/insignificant
other out to a nice dinner before he/she stands there while you talk about
cameras and complain about the incorrect address on a photo assignment then
do we have a suggestion. Club Lago (http://www.clublago.com) is really close
and they have a special menu prepared just for you. It might be the same
menu as everyone else, but special none the less. GianCarlo and Guido are
some of the coolest guys in the neighborhood.
Everyone who won anything in the contest will have work displayed. So if you
guys could help spread the word we’d really appreciate it. Tell you friends
via Facebook, twitter, or even smoke signals. Maybe lead with the free booze
part then the amazing artwork. And remember all prints are for sale and
benefit the Chuck Cass Memorial Scholarship. Photos make great stocking
stuffers.
