Bike - Camp - Bacchanalian Revel for IPPA members in Wisconsin
Photojournalist Mark Hirsch has this incredible spread in southwest Wisconsin. He has about 180 acres of timber and pastureland — all interlaced with mountain biking trails. After some discussion, he’s invited photographers to hang out, ride on, camp out, the weekend of August 16th.

Bring your bikes!
You can either crash down his trails, or bring your road bike and hit the country roads. Don’t bike? Screw it! Walk the trails or just come and hang out.
Bring your tent!
He’s got some space next to a gurgling stream to pitch your canvas. Don’t camp? If you’re prissy, stay at a hotel in Platteville. Galena is less than 30 minutes away, too.
Outfit yourself!
The rule of this weekend is no work, no organization. Bring your own food. Don’t cook? Survive the weekend on granola. Just get out there and clear your mind.
Please - e-mail me warmowski <at> verizon.net if you’re going to come.
If we get enough people, and if we can figure out how to get it down the hill, we’ll rent a port-o-potty. Otherwise you’ll have to walk the hill to the farmhouse to use the restroom. Or, Mark has threatened to dig a hole and go old school.
Now, for the extent of the organization. Come sometime on Friday, have fun Saturday, leave when you want Sunday.
How to get there . . .
