IPPA - WNPA Conference hotels announced
Book your rooms! We have a couple options for housing during the IPPA/WNPA conference March 20-21 in Madison.
First option is the The Lowell Center at the University of Wisconsin. It’s pretty much next door to The Pyle Center, where the conference will be held. It’s not a hotel, it’s more like a dorm, yet more hotel-y. For Reservations ring 866.301.1753 and ask for WNPA/IPPA rooms.
$89 single/ $99 for a double
Second is The Madison Concourse Hotel, about 0.75 of a mile from The Pyle Center. Our Wisconsin cohorts say this is a very nice hotel, just off State Street, and we’re getting the rooms at a great price. WNPA is working on getting a shuttle bus to ferry people to and from the convention, so you won’t have to hassle with parking.
For Reservations ring 800.356.8293 and ask for WNPA/IPPA rooms. We have a 40-room block held until Feb. 28.
$139 single/$149 double
If you want swanky accommodations a 5-minute walk from the conference at $159/night contact The Edgewater at 800.922.5512 and ask for WNPA/IPPA rooms. (2 rooms open in block) $159
Beyond that, you’re on your own to find whatever deals you want. The above hotels were chosen for proximity to campus, and we were able to negotiate great rates.
The conference will be organized in familiar fashion.
- Friday will be iBOP judging all day (pop in on the WNPA’s contest, too). iSBOP judging in the afternoon. In the evening we have an official site for dinner (on your own) and hospitality.
- Saturday will be the education day, check ippaonline.com for updates on speakers.
Remember, if you entered the iBOP contest your conference fee is paid, so you might as well learn something and have some fun.
Thanks to John Maniaci of the Wisconsin State Journal for all his work organizing the conference!
Looking forward to being there!
