Updated - Candidates for new IPPA board
The Illinois Press Photographers Association is electing a new board in the coming weeks. After over 10 years of dedicated service, IPPA President Scott Strazzante, Vice President Mark Black and Secretary-Treasurer Steve Warmowski are stepping down. The updated list of candidates to fill those vacated positions are as follows:
- President: Rob Hart
- Vice President: Stephen Haas
- Secretary/Treasurer: Jason Brown
The three positions are still open for other nominations and members can declare themselves as a candidate. If you are interested, please contact Mark Black or Steve Warmowski at ippa@ippaonline.com
There are also several new IPPA members volunteering their time to take on chair positions:
- Chair of Membership/Student Outreach - Karen Kring
- Chair of Web Content - Beck Diefenbach
- Chair of the Annual Convention - Sandy Bressner
- Chair of iBOP - Allison Williams and Rene Edde
- Chair of Multimedia iBOP - Will Sullivan and Beck Diefenbach
- Chair of Student iBOP - Jon Cunningham
- Chair of Monthly Clip Contest - Clark Brooks and George LeClaire
