comments-two tornado photos topped the list. Both photos by TJ Salsman showed devastation of the storm.The photo of the children in the back of the car as their father sweeps the glass from the back of the car was different.

comments-While hockey fights are routine, we really likes the _expression of the young fan as the two players went at it. The juxtaposition of the worker against the track participant was an interesting view and a very well done baseball photo.

comments-An original and fresh perspective on an exercise class of mothers with strollers at the mall, and a great _expression as a woman gets her free food, and the silhouette had the additional element of the sun starburst.

comments-Roller skating was a typical photo feature; it won the judges over by the excellent level of photos. Many liked the 2nd place piece, it was different and well done. The images were very sophisticated. Cheerleading piece was similar to the comments I had on the skating piece, very well done

comments-The wrestler was a stark portrait against the abandoned building. Nice light and composition made 2nd place better than the average effort. at 3rd, nice moment between the 100-year-old woman and her grandson.

comments-1st was very original well done photo of pepper. The music photo was well lit, the idea was well thought out and executed. The 3rd place chili photo was clean.
