Help Chilean orphans learn photography

A friend of mine is heading to Chile in August and is looking for some
help.
Thanks, Scott

My name is Christine Mladic, and I am a photographer from Chicago who
will be going to Santiago, Chile in August through an organization
called Voluntarios de la Esperanza.

I will be living at an orphanage, and will be directing a class to
encourage the children to express themselves creatively through
photography.

For this reason, I would like to collect 40 point-and-shoot digital
cameras, either new or used. If possible, any digital cards that are
compatible with donated cameras would be greatly appreciated.

If you or anyone you know has a digital camera available for donation,
please contact me directly - the children, the organization, and I will
greatly appreciate your generous contribution! I thank you in
advance for your help.

Here are two websites that will explain more about the organization and
my intentions:
