Contains general information about this year’s conference April 7-8 at Northwestern University in Evanston.

We’re going to set official eating places Friday and Saturday night. Details to follow, but it will be nice to head everyone to the same place to hang out. Friday night we’ll also have a Hospitality Suite at the conference hotel, Hilton Garden Inn. It’s in Evanston about 0.5 miles away from the McCormick center — a nice little walk along the lake.

To reserve a room, Hilton Garden Inn, 1818 Maple Ave, Evanston. Call 847.475.6400, ask for the IPPA or Illinois Press Photographers Association block. Do so before March 6. There’s other hotels in the area, you’re on your own to figure that stuff out.

Note the conference is free for everyone that enters iBOP. And it’s also free for reporters, newsroom editors (anyone from the word side you want to educate) designers and the like!!
